This Gas Personal Attack Alarm has a locking head so when operated it will sound continuously until the gas runs out (this means no batteries required) or until you choose to deactivate it by removing the head and replacing it carefully. This allows someone to release it in an attack situation, so that they may protect themselves.

The output from this Gas Alarm is extremely powerful (138 db) and would penetrate the ear of an attacker making it physically painful for them.
